Enterprise Based Conservation
Catchment Management Authorities recognise conservation as a legitimate commercial land use and will pay up to 100% of your costs to actively manage areas for conservation for 15 years.
Enterprise Based Conservation aims to improve the protection of biodiversity (variety of plant and animal life) and natural resources base, as well as maintaining the financial viability of landholders. The Enterprise Based Conservation grant provides financial incentives for landholders within the Western Division to actively manage part or all of their property for specific conservation goals.
All Western Division landholders are eligible to apply, regardless of whether their property falls within the Western, Lower-Murray Darling, Lachlan, Central-West, Murray or Murrumbidgee Catchment Management Authority.
