Rory Treweeke

Rory Treweeke is the Chair of the Western Catchment Management Authority (Western CMA). Rory lives with his wife Joan on their station near Lightning Ridge in north western NSW. Rory has been Chair of the Western CMA since February 2004. Rory has a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and has been an independent member of the Barwon Darling River Management Committee, NSW representative on Community Reference Group for the Condamine Balonne Water Management Plan and a member of WEST2000 Plus Board of Management.

Justin McClure

Justin McClure is a board member of the Western CMA. Justin lives and works on his 150,000 acre grazing property near Tilpa with his wife Julie and their children. Justin and Julie pursue a dynamic lifestyle combining their grazing property operations with their passion for tourism. Justin and Julie’s “Kallara Station’ hosts the infamous Coolabah Lodge, Fisherman’s Lodge as well as Camping and Caravan sites.

Andrew Mosely

Andrew Mosely is a board member of the Western CMA and has held this position since October 2004. Andrew lives and works on his 70,000 acre property near Cobar, with his wife Megan and their children. Together they operate six diverse and integrated businesses including white dorper sheep, boer goats, cattle and some cropping. Andrew has a Bachelor in Science majoring in Wool & Pastoral Science, from the University of NSW.

Sam Jeffries

Sam Jeffries has been a member of the Murdi Paaki Regional Council for 15 years and has been the Chair for the past nine years. He has been elected Chair of the Murdi Paaki Regional Assembly. He is the Deputy Chair of the Indigenous Land Corporation, a Panel Member of the Aboriginal Trust Fund Repayment Scheme, and has been the Chair of the Barwon-Darling Alliance for the past seven years.

Diana Hoffman

Diana Hoffman has been an active member of natural resource and community organisations both locally and on a state-wide level. She has been a member of the National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) Advisory Council since 2001 and was the first woman to Chair the Council in 2004.  She has served on the Central-Darling Shire Council Tourism and Economic Development Board and Advisory Group, White Cliffs Parents and Citizens Association and the Darling River Group Council.  She is the Chair of the White Cliffs Community Association and the President of the White Cliffs History Group.

Tony Thomson

Tony Thompson is well known within the Western Catchment’s agricultural community.  He began his career as a dryland agronomist and started growing irrigated cotton in 1993 and adopted grazing agriculture in 2001.His innovative ‘integrated rangeland management’ system, which focuses on the reintroduction of perennial pastures through rotational grazing and enables the management of stock on an individual basis, has attracted considerable interest both locally and abroad.
