Prepare for the Next Drought
Undertake the "Stockplan" training course and one of three specialised Department of Primary Industry drought training courses* and you may be eligable for up to $10, 000 for on-ground works to better prepare for the next drought.
Applications for on-ground works close April 30, 2008.

I have a good idea. How can WCMA help me get started?
There are a variety of different funding sources available to help with your project. For example, the Western CMA has access to funds from the Natural Heritage Trust and National Action Plan for Water Quality and Salinity. The WCMA also administers National Landcare Plan funds. The major funding for Natural Resource Managment incentives is launched once a year and is competetive.
National Landcare Program 2007 - Open to 28 September 2007
The NLP 2007 funding is now available for grants of $20,000 or less. The funding ratio is 1:1 Application close 28th Septmeber and you should complete your project by the end of April 08.

Incentives 2007 - now closed
The Western CMA has $5.6 million available through the 2007 Incentive Program. Applications are accepted until 30 March. Click here for more information on the program.
Enterprise Based Conservation - now closed
